Step 7: Re-Install and configure whatsapp account on your Device

• After installing and configuring Whatsapp account on your device, you access the victim’s whatsapp account.
• Enter the victim’s phone number so as to set up WhatsApp rather than your own.
• This allows you to receive and send messages from the victim’s account.

Step 8: Attain Confirmation Code from the victim’s mobile phone

• During the WhatsApp configuration process, confirmation code will be sent to the victim’s phone number.
• Access the victim’s phone for the last time to acquire that verification code.
• Enter it into WhatsApp that is on your phone.

Last month, WhatsApp introduced the "Video status updates" feature which works just like story on Instagram and Snapchat. But unfortunately, the new feature didn't go down well with a lot of people.

While many people were not okay with how the new feature removes the simplicity from WhatsApp, others complained about the removal of the contact tab and also text status.
Now WhatsApp has decided to fix one of these issues by re introducing the Text status feature. The feature which was added to the latest WhatsApp Version 2.17.95 is currently available to the beta users only and it works just like before.
This new change does not eliminate the video status option, which means you now have both the old text status and the new temporary video status. Since the feature is currently available to the beta testers only, most users might not see it yet until it's pushed out to everyone.

We are excited to announce that, coinciding with WhatsApp’s 8th birthday on February 24, we are reinventing the status feature. Starting today, we are rolling out an update to status, which allows you to share photos and videos with your friends and contacts on WhatsApp in an easy and secure way. Yes, even your status updates are end-to-end encrypted.

4 DISADVANTAGES OF ENABLING WHATSAPP TWO-STEP AUTHENTICATION

1. Danger of Losing WhatsApp Access For 7 days.

Two-step verification requires specifying an email address that can be used to turn it off if you forget the six-digit passcode. But if you forget the passcode without specifying the backup email, you won’t be able to reverify your number on
WhatsApp within 7 days of last using it.
Essentially, this means that you won’t be able to access WhatsApp for seven days.

2. Risk Of Your WhatsApp Account Getting Deleted

If you reverify your number on WhatsApp after 30 days of last using the app, without the passcode, your WhatsApp account will be automatically deleted.

Although a new account will be created automatically once you successfully reverify, there’s still a risk of your account and all your chats getting deleted, unless you regularly back them up.

3. Nagging Reminders To Enter Passcode

If you use the internet regularly, you already know how annoying pop-ups are. And with two-step verification enabled, you may have to deal with something like that in WhatsApp frequently.

That’s because the app will periodically ask you to enter your passcode, thus ‘helping’ you to not forget it. There’s no way to disable this nagging prompt without turning off two-step verification altogether.

4. Potential Security Risk To Your Email ID

As mentioned above, enabling two-step verification requires you to specify a valid email address, which can be used to disable the feature in case you ever forget your passcode.

Although WhatsApp claims that it won’t verify the email to confirm its accuracy, you still the run the risk of having your e-mail address exposed to security threats and possibly unwanted promotional messages.
